Important service update
Royal Mail is experiencing severe service disruption to its international export services. We are temporarily unable to despatch items to overseas destinations, and items that have already been despatched may be subject to delays. We are continuing to take orders bound for overseas destinations but these may not be dispatched until Royal Mail have resolved this issue.

*Please note: Products that are made to order are delivered within 5-7 working days on both standard and expedited services, and will be shipped separately from standard products. Made to order products are indicated as such on the product page.

Can I order online and pick up in store?
Yes. We offer a free Click & Collect service from the Houses of Parliament Shop at 12 Bridge Street. Orders are usually ready to collect in 48 hours, although orders that contain made-to-order products may take longer. Please check shop opening times and remember to bring your order confirmation email before coming to collect. Orders that remain uncollected after 14 days will be returned to our warehouse and a full refund will be issued.
How do I know if my order has been posted?
You will receive an email from us as soon as your order has been posted.
Can I change the delivery address after I have ordered?
If your order has not yet been dispatched please contact us on +44 (0)20 7219 3890 or email@example.com so we can change the delivery address.
Why can't I buy more than two alcohol items?
At this time, no more than two alcohol products can be added to a single order. This is because we are unable to send more than two bottles in the post with our delivery partners.
Do deliveries need a signature?
Most UK deliveries do not require a signature, unless they contain alcohol, fresh produce or made-to-order products. Deliveries to overseas addresses, however, will often require a signature.
Will I have to pay import duties if ordering from abroad?
If you order for delivery outside the UK, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT). These duties and taxes are charged when your order arrives at its destination. You will be responsible for paying any additional costs. The postage charges applied by the Houses of Parliament Shop covers packaging and delivery only.
The Houses of Parliament Shop does not have any control over any customs charges and cannot estimate their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country from the country you are sending to. The Houses of Parliament Shop will not be liable for any breach of any such laws.
How do I return an item?
To return an item, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org containing your name and web order number.
Our standard returns policy is 28 days. If more than 28 days has passed since your purchase, unfortunately we won’t be able to offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return the item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.
To process your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase or confirmation email.
If you would like to return an item over £50 we suggest using a trackable postage service.
Please note that some products, such as our Hand-Carved Westminster Hall Angels, have specific terms relating to their return. These products will have a link to the specific terms on the product page. Please read our terms and conditions for more information.
How do I return a made-to-order item?
Products that are made to order (such as personalised items, framed prints and canvases, and some consumable items) cannot be returned unless damaged or defective. Please see our Cancellation, Returns and Exchanges Policy for more details.
Do I have to pay for postage to return items?
You will need to pay for postage to return items. Postage costs are non-refundable. The amount we refund you will be minus the postage costs.
When will I know if I can get a refund?
Once we receive and check your returned item, we will send you an email to let you know whether or not we are able to refund it.
If we are able to refund you, your original payment method will be automatically credited within 28 days.
If after 28 days you haven’t received your refund please contact your bank as it may take some time for the refund to be processed.

I have received a damaged item, what should I do?

Can I return my order in store at Houses of Parliament shop?
Orders placed online (including Click & Collect orders) can be returned to the Houses of Parliament Shop at 12 Bridge Street. Please remember to bring a copy of your invoice, as a refund or exchange will not be possible without this. If you have lost your invoice, please contact us in advance on +44 (0)20 7219 3890 or email@example.com before attempting to return your item to store.
Can I exchange an item?
We only replace items if they are damaged or faulty. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please email firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can arrange the return of your product.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
