Sourced from the same grade “A” vineyards that produce Churchill’s Vintages, Churchill’s LBV is a premium quality port that has aged in wood for 4 years. It has an excellent intensity of fruit and finesse, and is as delicious on its own as it is enjoyed after lunch or dinner. 

This 2018 vintage has a deep black cherry core with a purple rim, and on the nose offers exuberant aromas of fresh herbs and blackberries. On the palate it shows layers of flavours of black fruits and dark chocolate, with plenty of depth and serious structure on a long vinous finish. This makes it perfect paired with rich cheeses or even chocolate desserts. 

To reach optimum maturity, this LBV can be aged for at least 5 to 10 years in the bottle when stored lying down under cellar conditions (12-14ºC).
