Charity Christmas Cards Mixed Pack (5 Cards)

£3.00
New

Description

The Speaker of the House of Commons and his pets make guest appearances in this mixed pack of Christmas cards.

Sir Lindsay Hoyle, his tortoise Maggie, cats Clem and Attlee, and parrot Boris, can be spotted in five designs which feature festive scenes in and around Westminster.

The paintings include a bedecked Commons Chamber with Boris flying above a Christmas tree holding mistletoe in his beak, Attlee escaping from a present, Clem lazing on the green benches and Maggie looking on.

Another shows a choir singing outside the Church of St Margaret’s the parish church of the House of Commons – with the two cats in the snow.

Father Christmas and his sleigh are seen flying over Parliament, while Attlee strolls along a wall above the Thames – and the Speaker’s State Coach is depicted travelling over Westminster Bridge.

Mr Speaker is also pictured taking a walk with Attlee in a snow-covered Parliament Square, with the Elizabeth Tower, Portcullis House, and the London Eye clearly visible in the background.
