Our House of Commons Bordeaux (2015) is produced at the Bordeaux Supérieur property Château Rouquette, owned by the Widcoq family, near the town of Pellegrue in the South East of the Bordeaux region.
Christophe Widcoq and his team have access to fantastic fruit from their vineyards surrounding the Château, on the steep, well-drained south and west facing slopes at the site of vineyards dating back to the 14th century.
The wine is made of a blend of three grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, each giving their specific aromas, flavours and structures to the wine. A full-bodied wine, with the balance and maturity to drink on its own or with all red meats and blue cheeses.
