Speaker's State Coach, c.1905 Canvas

£60.00

Description

This black and white photograph from 1905 shows the Speaker's State Coach in Speaker's Court.

The Speaker’s State Coach is a rare example of 17th century coach design and is one of only a handful surviving in Europe from this period. It is thought to have been made for King William III and Queen Mary II in the 1690s. It is the oldest of three great ceremonial coaches in Britain, the others being the Royal Gold State Coach and the Lord Mayor’s Coach.

The image has been reproduced from the original glass plate negative held in the Parliamentary Archives.

Our fine art canvases are produced using a giclée fine art printing process and are hand finished by an experienced canvas framing team.

  • 100+ year colour guarantee
  • Made with finely textured, artist-grade cotton canvas
  • Frame constructed with high-quality, kiln-dried knotless pine
