COVID-19 Safety Information
The safety of our customers and staff is our number one priority, and in line with UK Parliament as a whole, we've put in place measures designed to make all of our spaces Covid-secure.
These measures, which are guided by Public Health England (PHE), are continually being reviewed and updated to keep them in line with the latest health and safety advice relating to Covid-19.
Below are some of the measures we're implementing to protect and reassure our staff and customers, and how they may affect our service.
To keep customers and staff at a safe distance, we're limiting the number of individuals who can browse our shops at one time. We're also limiting the number of staff on duty at any given time. Markers will be placed throughout our shops and outside to indicate safe browsing and queuing distances.
Together, these measures may mean you have to wait a little longer than usual to enter our shops or to be served by one of our team members. We kindly ask for your understanding and patience during this time.
We've also implemented social distancing measures in our warehouse facility and limited the number of staff who can be on duty to process online orders at any given time. This means that deliveries may take longer than usual. Please see our delivery and returns page for more information.
All our shops have been fitted with perspex screens at the till point to protect our customers and our staff. Some of our staff may also be wearing face masks - rest assured that they're wearing a smile beneath.
Card Payments Only
To minimise cash handling, we're asking our customers to make payment by card only, and to use contactless where possible. Please remember to bring a credit/debit card with you before visiting one of our shops. As reminder, we accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Hand sanitiser is available at all entry points to our shops, and we kindly ask that you make use of it before entering. Our staff also have access to hand sanitiser and will be using it frequently.
We're asking customers to refrain, where possible, from touching items that they do not intend to purchase.
All items returned to our shops (or to our warehouse in the case of online orders) will be placed in quarantine for a minimum of 72 hours before being restocked and placed on our shelves. We are also extending our returns period from 28 days to 45 days until further notice.
